Discount Car Rentals and the Bronson Caves

Imagine yourself walking along a path that is out in the middle of nature. You are walking among the world's most natural surroundings and breathing in the fresh air of everyday life. You smell the air and it is a wonderful scent of pine cones and evergreen trees. You can hear animals bustling in the bushes and you see birds flying free overhead. In front of you, you notice a cave that has a small opening leading to an unknown place. Should you go inside and see what's in there or should you turn back and risk living a life of regret? You decide that since you are in a beautiful area that is somewhat isolated, you might as well give it a shot and see where it takes you. You enter the cave and it looks to be about 50 feet long and then you realize that it branches off into 3 different exit sections. Next you see that there is an area behind the cave that resembles a canyon. At the very back of the cave there is an exit. You step outside the cave and discover that you are looking at one of the most famous and well-known signs in the world. The "Hollywood" sign is right in front of your eyes and what a beautiful sight it is. You have had vacations before, but nothing like this on your upcoming discount car rental trip. The caves you just imagined yourself in are none other than the Bronson Caves at Griffith Park. You can have this experience for real if you choose to visit the caves on your discount car rental vacation. Enjoy a day of adventure and fun with the family or just a relaxing walk by yourself at the Bronson Caves.

Don't Get Too Close to the Edges

The Bronson Caves are a great way to spend a family vacation. You can learn about the landscape of the earth and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of an amazing area. The hike through the caves is about 1.75 miles in total so it is a great way to get your exercise on your exciting adventure. On your future discount car rental vacation, you may have to ask about where exactly the trail is. The caves have so much history involved with them, but they are located in the corner of the park and are unreachable from other entrances. If you need specific directions to the park, you can go to www.etreking.com/eTreking/Pages/GriffithPark.html for more information. Some of the trail is very steep and narrow so you must pay careful attention while traveling this path. As mentioned before, you will have an excellent view of the Hollywood sign and also the LA basin from outside of the caves. Make sure to take your camera because this is the photo opportunity of a lifetime that you won't want to miss. Make sure to visit Griffith Park and take a walk through the Bronson Caves on your discount car rental trip.

A.K.A. the "Batman" Caves

These man-made caves are sometimes called the "Batman" Caves because of their famous appearance in the Batman and Robin series. Thousands of production companies have filmed shows and movies at the caves and they have made many emergences. The caves have shown up in "Robin Hood", "Bonanza", and "The Lone Ranger". They have also been seen in "The Scorpion King" and "Lost Horizon", as well as many other TV shows and films. Griffith Park is open from 6:00am-10:00pm everyday for public entrance. Hiking trails, mountain roads and bridle trails are closed each night at sunset. The speed limit in the park is 25 mph and is harshly enforced to avoid any unnecessary problems. Please check out the Bronson Caves at Griffith Park on your discount car rental trip for a fun and interesting time.
