It doesn't have to be a choice: the best of both worlds
The winery was founded in the early 1960s and contributed to premium winemaking in the region. It was founded by a dermatologist named David Bruce, who discovered wine making as a medical student through his love of food and cooking. After his residency, he bought 40 acres of land that you can visit with your Silicon Valley car rental. He cleared the land by hand and even maintained his practice for the first 25 years.
Make it your night
One of the featured wines is the 2000 commemorative Pinot Noir. This special wine was bottled to commemorate the 70th birthday of David Bruce. The 200 Chardonnay is also a featured wine that uses grapes from the coolest site. The wines are barrel fermented in French oak and aged sur-lies for ten months to add richness and flavor to the wine.
