El Rey Theater

Want to visit one of the most opulent live concert venues in the LA? Then pack up your Super Cheap Car Rentals Los Angeles vehicles and head to the Miracle Mile and one of city’s best preserved art deco theatres, the El Rey. Built in 1936, the El Rey is one of the area’s last original art deco theatres. It was designed by Clifford Bach, and is now a registered Historic/Cultural Monument, as well as one of the hottest entertainment venues around. After a 50 year run as a movie house, the El Rey was fully converted into a live concert hall back in 1994, giving the customers of Super Cheap Car Rentals Los Angeles an intimate venue unlike any other.

Features of the El Rey

The El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles is an amazing sight to see. The outside of the theatre features a classic marquee and traditional ticket wicket. Once inside the theatre, customers of Super Cheap Car Rentals Los Angeles will discover a stunning art deco lobby leading directly into the grand ballroom. What used to be the seating area of the original theatre has now been converted into an open performance area, complete with full stage and state-of-the-art lighting. Concert-quality sound is pumped from the impressive sound system, while a glittering chandelier shadows audience members with an unforgettable ambience. What’s more, the theatre has a full bar, VIP lounge, full-service kitchen and valet parking service. You’ll feel like a Hollywood star from the minute you step onto the El Rey’s signature red carpet, so don’t forget to dress-up – you never know who you might run into at a show.

Directions to the El Rey

Customers of Super Cheap Car Rentals Los Angeles will find the EL Rey Theatre on Wilshire Boulevard, between La Brea Avenue and Fairfax Avenue in the mild of what is commonly called the Miracle Mile area. To get there from the 101 South, take the Highland Boulevard exit and continue until you reach Wilshire. Hang a right onto Wilshire and the El Rey Theatre will be four block past La Brea Avenue on the right. If you’re coming from the north, take the 5 North until you reach 10 West. Take the La Brea North exit and turn left onto Wilshire. The El Rey Theatre is four block down on the right. El Rey guests are required to valet or park their Super Cheap Car Rentals Los Angeles vehicles in specific lots near the theatre. A secure lot is located one block east at 5455 Wilshire Boulevard. The entrance is off of Cochran.

Get your tickets

Customers of Super Cheap Car Rentals Los Angeles can purchase advance tickets to events at the El Rey Theatre through Ticketmaster. If you’re in the area, you can also drop by the El Rey’s onsite restaurant, Cowboys and Turbans, Monday through Friday from noon to 9pm to pre-purchase tickets. Tickets are available for cash only at the restaurant. Will call and walk up sales are available at the box office, which opens at the door time on the night of an event.
