First Crush opened in 1998 and has been going strong since then. They strive to offer hand-crafted quality food using the freshest ingredients available. They offer a lively and fun atmosphere for a great evening out with friends. There is a dining room, bar, and lounge. It's a great place to enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or a cocktail.
What's for dinner
First Crush has a lot to offer diners when you come here with your San Francisco rental car. For people with small appetites or those that like to try a lot of different things, there are a number of small plates. These include Maine lobster bisque, Caesar salad, smoked tofu and sesame soba noodles, Maine lobster mac and cheese, potato gnocchi, sashimi of Hawaiian hamachi, and many others. The main dishes include pan roasted line caught halibut, maple leaf farms duck breast, black pepper linguini, rib eye, kobe burger, pork tenderloin, and salmon filet. There is a local artisan cheese plate that you can try, as well as several side dishes. First Crush is committed to using local, organic, and sustainable ingredients in their cooking.

This is because they have an excellent wine list that has a number of California choices. From 2001-2010, they won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. The side by side smaller pours allows you to try a number of selections, then choose your favourite. Where to find First Crush
When you visit with your San Francisco car rental, you will find First Crush Restaurant two blocks west of Union Square in the city. It is located between Powell, Mason, O'Farrell, and Market Streets. It is within walking distance of Nordstrom's San Francisco Centre, right in the middle of the theatre district as well as within walking distance of several hotels. There is valet parking available at Hotel Nikko for $15 for the first 2 hours and $5 for each additional hour (but be sure not to drink if you drive). The address is 101 Cyril Magnin Street at Ellis.
