Grammy Museum

The Grammy Museum is dedicated to the history of the Grammy Awards and also features historical music artifacts that you can see when you are here with your Los Angeles car rental. The museum features exhibiting musical artifacts, behind-the-scenes live performances at the Grammy Awards, and touch-screen booths. Music to your ears

This is a one-of-a-kind museum with interactive exhibits, both permanent and traveling. There are more than two dozen exhibits that feature all genres of music from rock to hip hop, and country to classical. The museum is not just about the Grammy Awards. It also has exhibits that explore music history and its cultural impact, the art and science of the recording process, and the achievements of several music makers.

The exhibits

The exhibits here will take you through one hundred and sixty genres of music, but you can focus on those that appeal to you the most. There are artifacts for some of the most significant musical traditions in the Untied States with vintage footage and interviews of artists. You can also learn about the technology of recording and learn how music is created. You can read through some of the profiles of the world's greatest recording artists and learn why they were so great for their time. One the second floor, there is a special exhibits gallery where you can see unique temporary exhibits on display at the museum. Tickets are $12.95 for adults, $11.95 for students and seniors, $10.95 for youth and military personnel, and $10 for groups. Tickets can be purchased at the museum or online through Ticket Master before hand. The museum is at the corner of Olympic Boulevard and Figueroa Street with your rental car Los Angeles. They are open Sunday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. There is parking nearby when you visit with your Los Angeles car rental.
