Welcome to the oldest Theatre in Hollywood
Although it isn't used as a theatre anymore, the building that is now known as the Guinness World Record Museum was once home to classic movies. The Hollywood Theatre is now preserved as a National Register Landmark. Built in 1938, it is hard to see the classic architecture of the building. The new Guinness World Record Museum marquee hides most of the original building. However, most Hollywood locals are happy that the once storied building is again in use. Renovated in 1994 for the Guinness World Record Museum, the old Hollywood Theatre is again home to the starsor at least the world's greatest record holders.
