?It is traditional to wash and rinse thoroughly before entering the pool. San Francisco car rental travelers will find showers inside the mens and ladys change rooms for this purpose.
?Bathers should begin with the dry sauna or steam room. The dry air in the sauna is approximately 170 degrees, while the steam room is kept a consistent 120 degrees.
?San Francisco car rental travelers should follow the steam room or sauna with a dip in the cold pool. This will help stimulate your circulatory system. The cold pool is a stimulating 55 degrees.
?At this time, bathers are encouraged to stop for a period of rest prior to entering the hot pool. This large pool is 104 degrees and is the last stage in the bathing ritual.
The communal baths at Kabuki are open to women on Sundays, Wednesday, and Fridays. Men are welcome on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Coed bathes are held on Tuesdays (clothing required).
