Los Angeles Film Festival

The Los Angeles International Film Festival is an event held annually in June in LA for about 10 days. When you visit with your LAX car rental, you will find the festival showcases North American independent, feature, documentary, and short films as well as music videos. The festival sees an attendance of more than 80,000 people over the course of the festival and screens more than 100 feature films during its run. In a city that is based around movies, you will find there are many opportunities to experience the film industry here.

Event history

When you are here with your LAX rental car, you may learn that the festival began in 1971 as the Los Angeles International Film Exposition. In 1995, it became a 5 day festival. In 2010, the festival moved to the L.A. Live Complex in downtown Los Angeles with additional screenings taking place in other downtown venues. The festival has premiered hits such as The Devil Wears Prada and Sunshine in the past.

How to get tickets
