About the Marine Mammal Center

This new building is one of the largest marine mammal hospitals in the world to combine animal rehabilitation efforts with an onsite research laboratory. At any given time, budget San Francisco car rental travelers could discover more than 200 animals at the facility, with the Center treating more than 600 individual creatures every year.

RESEARCH: Each animal that is treated at the Marine Mammal Center provides researchers with invaluable source of information on both marine mammal health and ocean health.
