Known by the staff here at Super Cheap as "Laura from England", actress/model Laura Shields has been a customer of Super Cheap’s since 2005. Laura used to find renting a vehicle in L.A. difficult, due to her hectic filming schedule and lengthy projects. But not with Super Cheap! Now, Laura reserves her vehicle for as long as she needs, be it a week, a month, or a year. Even though Laura is now established in California permanently, she still loves to drop by when friends and family are looking for a short-term vacation vehicle, or a long-term rental while working in the L.A. film and fashion industry.

Laura Shields is a stunning model known for both her beauty and her brains. Born and raised in Manchester, UK, the brunette beauty was signed to a modeling contract with Elite Model Management before she’d even turned 15. After a year in the fashion and modeling industry, Laura decided to temporarily retire from the business, choosing instead to concentrate on her studies. Laura attended Leeds University where she earned an honours degree in Chemical Engineering.

Since finishing her degree, Laura has reappeared on the modeling scene, working in the print, pageant and television industries. She has won the prestigious Miss UK beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Hawaiian Tropic UK back in 2005. She was voted the “Sexiest Woman Alive” in 2004 and has appeared in magazines like FHM and has made Stuff Magazine’s “101 Sexiest Women” online. Laura has also made appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”.
