San Francisco Rental Car and Six Flags Magic Mountain
Magic Mountain was a cute theme park with gnomes that lived in a magic mountain. Then Six Flags bought the park and spiced it up to the "xtreme". Today, this park is one of the world's largest theme parks with some of the world's largest rides. It is a bit of a drive with your San Francisco rental car; it is located in Valencia, about 30 miles north of Los Angeles. Within the park you will also find Hurricane Harbor, a water park that charges separate admission.
A thrill ride haven for 45 years
Leaving you San Francisco rental car in the parking lot, you will step into the largest collection of roller coasters on the planet. There are 17 world-class roller coasters, including the new Tatsu, the world's longest. Tallest, and fastest flying coaster! You will fly through the air and the famous mountain terrain. There is also SCREAM!, a floorless mega-coaster; X, the world's first four-dimensional coaster where riders race in vehicles that spin independently 360-degrees forward and backward on separate axis; Goliath, a giant roller coaster; and Dejavu, a boomerang coaster that takes you through the track forward and backward.
Six Flags also has many rides and attractions for kids and adults who prefer to stay a little closer to the ground. Some of the attractions that the whole family can enjoy before leaving in your San Francisco rental car include Just Wingin' It, an exotic bird show from the tropical regions of the world.
